Landscape Division

In the mid 1980's, management decided to concentrate on maintenance services. Since 1985, Aztec Landscaping, Inc. has worked exclusively in the maintenance area. Within landscape maintenance includes: mowing, edging/trimming, irrigation, pest control, renovation, aerification, policing, fertilizations, tree care, etc...

Our Staff has over 250 employees at this time, providing landscape services to such clients as the United States Navy PWC, The County of San Diego, The City of San Diego, City of Chula Vista, City of El Cajon, City of Vista, California State of San Marcos University, Airport of San Diego, City of Oceanside, Caltrans, Sandag, MTS,The Port District, Solar Turbines, Costco, Homeowner Associations and private commercial properties which require a high degree of professional and quality type workmanship.

Throughout our years of experience, we have installed different working techniques to aid us in upholding our degree of professionalism and quality which has proven successful with our most prominent customers.

Our maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, renovators, aerificators, sweepers and boom trucks as well as our transportation equipment are given scheduled preventive maintenance which prevents delays in our schedule as well as accidents to our employees. Therefore, we rely on our own repair and mechanic shop.

We are up-to-date on our knowledge of equipment, products, and new techniques to help our company be more efficient and therefore be able to provide better prices for our customers.

Tree Division

Aztec Tree Service - As of June 1992 we inaugurated a division on tree maintenance which was initiated to meet the needs of some clients, then extending to serve clients in San Diego County. We have earned a number of satisfied customers which have patronized our services, such clients as the City of San Diego, The City of Chula Vista, shopping centers, hospitals, hotels, condominium complexes and residential customers.

Our services include, but not limited to:

In crown reduction pruning, generally not more than 1/3 of the total area is removed in a single operation. Crown reduction and deadwood removal have frequently been done in large Ponderosa and Lodgepole pines close to buildings. This allows the winds to move through the tree, lessening chances of tree failure. Also, because more light and air reach the inner portion of the branches, the trees experience less needle loss. Consequently, there is less mess below. We believe this also enhances the natural shape of the tree. 

Janitorial Division

As of October 1993, we proudly inaugurated our third division dedicated to janitorial services. We currently provide these services for The City of San Diego, Public Libraries, Police Stations, Healthcare Centers, County Court Houses, San Diego Unified Port District and ABACOR Inc. Other commercial contracts include malls, condominiums and office buildings.

We are very satisfied in knowing that we are complying with one of our highest values, which is to provide our customers with our best and highest degree of professionalism in all three of our divisions.
